Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using TubWise at https://gettubwise.com, you agree to these Terms of Use and the related Disclaimer and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Informational and educational purpose

TubWise publishes general educational information about hot tub troubleshooting, water care, maintenance, error codes, ownership topics, and related tools. Content is written for ordinary homeowners. It is not professional advice of any kind, including electrical, chemical, medical, engineering, plumbing, structural, or manufacturer-authorized service advice.

Always follow your spa manufacturer's owner's manual, the labels on any products you use, applicable local codes, and guidance from a qualified professional when a task is beyond ordinary owner maintenance.

Safety responsibilities

Hot tubs involve electricity, water, chemicals, and mechanical equipment. You are responsible for deciding whether a step is safe for your skill level, equipment, and situation.

In particular:

  • Stop when instructions would require opening electrical equipment, handling wiring, bypassing safety devices, or performing work beyond ordinary owner maintenance. Those tasks belong to a qualified technician.
  • Follow chemical product labels. Do not mix chemicals unless the product instructions explicitly direct that step.
  • Calculators, checklists, and guides on TubWise are estimates or general orientation only. Verify volumes, parts, settings, and procedures against your manufacturer specifications and product labels before acting.
  • TubWise does not guarantee that troubleshooting content will correctly diagnose or repair a problem on your spa.
  • Emergency, health, electrical, gas, structural, or serious water-quality concerns require an appropriate qualified professional. Do not rely on TubWise for emergency response.

Your decisions and actions

You are solely responsible for how you use TubWise content, including whether you follow, ignore, or adapt any suggestion. Spa brands, controllers, plumbing, water chemistry, and local rules vary. Confirm details against your own equipment and documentation before you act.

No warranties

The website and all content, tools, and materials are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. That includes warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. TubWise does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TubWise and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or equipment, arising out of or related to your use of the site or reliance on its content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TubWise's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the site is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid TubWise, if any, for access to the site in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (US $50). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, the limits apply only to the extent allowed.

TubWise may link to manufacturer sites, manuals, public-health resources, and other third-party pages. Those links are provided for convenience. TubWise does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices.

Affiliate relationships

TubWise may earn a commission if you buy products through affiliate links on the site, at no additional cost to you. Affiliate compensation does not change these Terms or create a warranty about any product.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise noted, TubWise owns or licenses the text, branding, layout, graphics, and other materials on the site. You may view and use the site for your personal, non-commercial learning. You may not copy, republish, sell, or commercially exploit TubWise content without prior written permission, except for ordinary personal use or as allowed by law (such as fair use).

Acceptable use

You agree to use TubWise only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Interfere with or disrupt the site, its hosting, or related infrastructure
  • Use automated scraping, bulk downloading, or similar tools in a way that harms site performance, bypasses access controls, or violates these Terms
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data related to the site

Changes to the website or terms

TubWise may update, pause, or discontinue any part of the website at any time. These Terms may also change. When they do, TubWise will update this page and revise the effective date. Termination or restriction of access

TubWise may suspend or restrict access to the site if these Terms are violated, if needed to protect the site or other users, or for operational reasons. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will continue to apply.

Severability

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in effect. The unenforceable part will be modified to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable, where possible.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in this section limits rights you may have under the law of your place of residence where those rights cannot be limited by contract.
