Who operates TubWise

TubWise operates the website at https://gettubwise.com from Florida. We publish educational guides and tools for hot tub owners. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you use the site and how that information is handled.

Information we collect

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, TubWise is served through a hosting provider. When you visit the site, standard technical information is typically processed in server or CDN logs. That can include your IP address, browser type, device or operating-system information, referring URL, pages requested, and the date and time of the request.

TubWise also uses Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-focused traffic measurement tool provided by Vercel (the same company that hosts the site). The analytics script records anonymous, aggregated page-view data such as the page URL, referrer, approximate geolocation (for example, country or city), device type, and browser or operating-system details. According to Vercel, Web Analytics does not use third-party cookies for visitor identification and does not collect personal identifiers meant to track people across unrelated websites. TubWise does not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, error-logging, or other third-party analytics or advertising scripts on the site.

If you use site search, your query may appear in the page URL (for example, /search?q=...). Hosting logs and analytics page-view data may reflect that full request URL.

Information you provide voluntarily

TubWise does not offer accounts, newsletters, comment systems, payments, or an on-site contact form. If you email us at hello@gettubwise.com, you choose what to include in that message. That typically includes your email address and any name, spa details, or other information you write. We use that information to respond to your message and to keep ordinary correspondence records.

Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies

TubWise does not set advertising cookies, and the site code does not use browser local storage or session storage for tracking. Vercel Web Analytics is designed to measure traffic without third-party cookies; visitor sessions are identified using a hash derived from the request rather than a persistent cookie. Search works in your browser by loading a static search index from the site.

Your browser may still store ordinary temporary data needed to display pages, and third-party services that the site loads may use their own technologies, as described below.

Why information is processed

Information described in this policy is processed to:

• Operate, secure, and deliver the website
• Understand aggregated site traffic and which pages are used
• Respond to messages you send
• Understand and fix technical issues when they appear in hosting logs
• Maintain ordinary business and legal records related to the site

Service providers that may receive information

TubWise uses service providers to run the site. Based on the current site configuration and production hosting headers, those providers include:

• Vercel, which hosts and delivers the static site, may process standard request logs and related infrastructure data, and provides Vercel Web Analytics used to measure anonymous, aggregated page views
• Email providers, if you send email to TubWise, because your message travels through ordinary email systems

These providers process information on TubWise's behalf or as part of delivering their services. TubWise does not currently use advertising networks, chat widgets, payment processors, or account systems, and it does not use separate analytics platforms other than Vercel Web Analytics.

Selling and sharing of personal information

TubWise does not sell personal information, and it does not share personal information with third parties for targeted advertising. Using hosting and email infrastructure is not the same as selling information or running advertising profiles.

TubWise may disclose information if required by law, to respond to a valid legal process, or to protect the security and integrity of the site and its users.

Affiliate links

TubWise maintains an Affiliate Disclosure page. The site does not currently include live affiliate links or affiliate tracking scripts. If affiliate links are added later and you follow one, the affiliate partner or network may collect information about that click under its own privacy practices, which can include cookies or referral identifiers needed to attribute a purchase. We do not control those third-party practices.

How long information is kept

TubWise does not publish fixed retention calendars for every data type. In practice:

• Hosting and CDN logs are retained according to the hosting provider's practices and TubWise's need to operate and secure the site
• Vercel Web Analytics visitor-session identifiers are discarded after 24 hours per Vercel's product practices; aggregated analytics are retained according to Vercel's practices for the service
• Email correspondence is kept as long as needed to respond and for ordinary business records, then deleted or archived when it is no longer needed

Security

TubWise takes reasonable steps to protect the site and correspondence, including serving pages over HTTPS through its hosting provider. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and TubWise cannot guarantee absolute security.

External links

Guides on TubWise often link to manufacturer manuals, public-health pages, and other third-party websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices. TubWise is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external sites.

Children's privacy

TubWise is intended for a general audience of hot tub owners and is not directed to children under 13. TubWise does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact TubWise using the details below and the information will be deleted when reasonably possible.

Privacy requests and consumer rights

Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you provided, or to ask questions about how it is handled. TubWise will review privacy requests in good faith and respond as required by applicable law.

This policy describes TubWise's practices. It is not a claim that TubWise is certified under, or formally assessed against, any specific privacy statute.

How to submit a privacy request

To ask a privacy-related question or submit a request, email hello@gettubwise.com. Please include enough detail for us to understand and verify your request. Do not send emergency repair or safety-critical issues by email; contact a qualified professional instead.

Changes to this policy

If this Privacy Policy changes, TubWise will update this page and revise the effective date at the top. Continued use of the site after an update means the revised policy applies to later visits, except where a different notice is required by law.
